The quiet cab ride again had the tension thrumming between these two. There's so much emotional baggage, I don't see how they're going to get through it all. I was sure Buffy would shut herself off from Spike again, so separate beds wasn't a surprise. Her seeking solace in the middle of the night was. Here's hoping the new day is brighter than these last few have been.

This is one of those stories that I've been able to picture in my minds eye since the beginning. It is just so well written !! Your style is very unique, so I was never able to create my own ending. I am so glad that you are back and creating more of this great story. It has been one of my favorites.

Poor Buffy. She's been through so much. Hopefully, whatever Drusilla saw won't be too terrible for my favorite couple. Can't wait for more!!! I've missed this fic!!!
