Giles had it coming... he provoked Buffy. And Xander forgot indeed how dangerous it is (in theory now) to attack Spike; he forget that he can hit back.
So that's it: Giles thinks that Spike turned his father. Good that Buffy isn't simply assuming that Giles is right and Spike is lying. But with the claim she should be able to sense when Spike lies anyway. Neat :)
lot of things just didn't add up. Why was the watcher determined to see the end of him now, when he had plenty opportunity in the past? Interesting questions.. maybe another force is working here?
But Giles really believes that Spike was the one that killed Giles' father. Only one name comes to my mind, connected with Giles, and that is Ethan. No clue if it was him.
Only one more day... and it has already started.
Looking forward to the next part even if it takes some time.

Wow , two great Gilly fics updated in one weekend, fantastic, ok now we have the Giles mystery to boot, who really turned his father and was he in fact turned, how come he never mentioned this before ,like before Spike came to Sunnydale,hhhumm ,very strange. HA SPIKE SHOWED HIM!!! im so glad that spike didnt kill giles' father. i LOVE this story and am so happy that u updated. im so glad that she stuck by him and tat they told xander and giles off. i really hope that they kill these demons and dont get captured by them. also i hope that everything works out and that they end up happy and together. please update as soon as u can, i cant wait to read wat happens next. thanx
