Hot DAMN do I love a story where Buffy tells Angel and Riley to shove it! Normally I have to make do with one or the other, but you manage to have her smack a Riley bitch and stare down an Angel bitch in the same chapter! Marvelous work. I love how Buffy pointed out that if Angel had really loved her, he would have without a soul too. Excellent job, really hot, really sweet. Can't wait for the finale, then I'm gonna read the whole story over again! Thanks for another winner Addie!

Very good Buffy came; impossible for Spike to defend himself against Riley with the chip.
Very surprisingly for Spike; he had a hard time to let go of the fact that Buffy told Riley she loves him, Spike. Well I can understand him :-D This is very important for him.
As I hope Angel has understand now that he isn't wanted there in Sunnydale; Riley did :)

That was so sad, seeing Buffy so torn between what she wants and what she thinks is the best. *sigh* She doesn't trust her heart enough and now it's hurting even more. ~ Good that Spike won't give up so easily. But bad bad cliffhanger! *reminds herself that this isn't an angsty fic* Good update, Spike winning the first round against Angel and Riley. Looking forward to read more.

Poor, wrongheaded Buffy. Drunk, bellowing, heartsick Spike may not seem like a catch, but there was no reason to be so cruel. At least he isn't leaving town with his tail between his legs.

The confrontation in the crypt was delightful. Snarky, drunk Spike was more than a match for those two bullies. I laughed out loud at this line: “Oh, will you look at this. And here I thought Los Angeles was your town to throw people out of. Does your jurisdiction extend down here, too, sheriff? Did you get a shiny badge?” Riley backtracking wasn't a surprise, but I'm looking forward to how the staking plays out.
