I noticed a sentence in my review beint wrong. I meant I would(!!) have loved it if your storyline had been season 6&7 (stupid Iphone and it's supposed to help me spell program). Im sorry I didn't review your story earlier. I just didn't feel I had the time. I just had to keep on reading:)

I've read through this series the last couple of days and it's so amazing. The storyline is extremely good and the writing equally good. It's so true to the way the characters were portrayed in Btvs and I wouldn't have loved it if this storyline could have been season 6 and 7. It's truly an amazing story. You're an exceptional writer. Thank you for writing this series.

'Whew! So glad... for a second there I thought that *was* the end! So glad we've got you and this 'verse for at least a teensy bit longer!
So far (and I expect I will thru the ending & beyond), I've truly enjoyed your 'Origins' saga. I've been totally immersed for the past 3 or 4 days. I picked up on Bk. 3, realizing I *had* read some of it before, but had no idea where I'd left off. I clicked over to Bk. 1 to skim over the chap. updates, to bring me back up to speed, but realized I'd never read Bks. 1 or 2, nor the one-shots. So, back I went to read all those. And read I did---totally sucked into the story, hooked and reeled in! For the past few days I've read straight through them, almost non-stop (yay, super-flexible schedules!), barring some catnaps! Sorry to say I was so anxious to read each 'next chapter' (mainly due to many of your evil cliffies!) that I didn't stop to review along the way (except maybe once, and I saw I had already reviewed a chappie early on here, of Bk. 3, 'bout 2 yrs ago). Just let me say that it's a compliment to your writing that I couldn't put the fics down long enough to comment, although praise was surely deserved by you!!! And don't worry about fics running long... you've got the right idea, in that you have something to say, and you'll be finished when the tale is *told*. Just look at the number of hits and know that people are reading even if they aren't replying about it. See? Even long after most of the was already finished, people (read: *me*) are still discovering your Origins 'verse and becoming hooked on it. And, wow... it's been a long story, long in the making (and telling ), but it will stick around long in our minds and hearts, too.
I actually, to my amazement, enjoyed your Quentin Travers! Initially thinking they were heading to SunnyD to snuff Buffy (and Spike), you truly surprized me with the opposite, his turnaround, and especially the hints of his rebellious, Ripper-esque early career.
I've loved your inclusion of Lawson. I always loved to see him in a fic.
Jenner has grown on me as well. I've often thought Faith should have her own vampire, and who would fit the bill but another Aurelian? (Does this mean Drusilla is fated to pair with Kennedy? ) I'd love to know who you had in mind as the model when you created Jenner (*trying to think of hunky famous Welshmen... ?*)
So, all I've got left to read in this 'verse now are 'Destinies' over at EF, and whatever else you end up writing to wrap this epic up... and, hey, once you've gotten settled back down a li'l bit in RL, have wrapped this up, wrapped up some/all of your other WIP's, and even, maybe, dabbled a mite more on your original
fic(s), who knows? Maybe that stubborn muse of yours
will dig his feet in and decide, just for the hell of it, that there is something else to see, say or to be done with your Origins 'verse, yet!!!
And of course, we'll still be here,on the lookout, waiting to snatch it up!
Me? I just loves me a saga, and epic, long, wordy, and adventure- and adrenaline-packed! They almost *CAN'T* be *too* long! !
It was good to see Xander at least make amends, if not totally re-enter the fold. Good that that option is there, though; and *Great* that Spike saved his life, literally taking a bullet for him! One that undoubtedly would've been fatal. And also great to see Xan and Spike make-up as much as they are ever going to.
It was fabulous for Cordy to perceive that Xander *needed* to be there *right then, right there*; in place, and for a pre-ordained, forseen conclusion-- or perhaps 2nd chance. And what a great way to accomplish that! Crucial to beginning to heal wounds that most likely sliced so deep when Jesse was killed and turned. Spike's action was wonderful.
As to Willow, sadly she was nearly pathetic. But then Goddess did tell her she'd be always on the fringe, on the outside looking in, until the Gods were satisfied with her. It does seem tho', that she is at least trying, for the right reasons, to do the right thing just because it is *right*; even tho' it is definitely apparent that she's still workinig thru issues, still struggling bunches, but still having epiphanies along her way. She definitely seems to've returned (as much as is possible, considering to the original much more studious Willow, she of scientific/tech-y/geekdom-Willow. It is significant that you bring Kait & Grace into the story, not just as midwives, but also as witches, demonstrating that Willow did not try very hard, beyond the wicca-wannabes on campus, to find anyone to actually study, learn and work with, in magick, spellwork, and certainly not in ceremonies, rituals, or Wicca as a religion. Pretty much, Willow went at it ass-backwards, definitely wanting to reap in all the bennies without any learning nor hard work. Giles is always faulted for not finding her a teacher in time to reign her in (and, well, he could have), but so could she have dug up something for herself... even if it was only digging around til she hooked up with some of Jenny's tecno-/cyber-pagans. The point being, it was great to see you point out that there had been resources out there FOR her, tho' it had been her own responsibility to do so... Instead, to her discredit, she let herself get out of control, because. she. *could*.
I hope you resolve the sitch with Willow, or settle her on a more positive path to follow as you wrap things up.
And Warren... I hope he does NOT manage an introductioni to the Initiative, and especially not their warped docs.
And good god, but Kennedy was particularly soulless! Makes me hope that there is some way to strip her powers! And also that she is not stupid enough to sneak in and release Riley to go after Spike, the vamps et al, and/or Buffy and the babes as well.I could see her doing ANY of that. She truly *doesn't* care about the well-being of any other than herself, and especially with her at the center of ANY attention.
You've done a great job. I can't wait for more, tho' that just heralds the end of the epic (*waaahhhh!*).
So, I'm off to read 'Destinies' (sadly not here) and do what I can... wait for the next update here!
Thanks so much for the pleasure that it has been to read this 'verse, so far!
(and sorry for being too wordy).
~~Kara

Hello Niamh,

OMG this is by far the best series that i have ever read!!! I have read thousands of spuffy fanfics and it only took me 3 days to read each of your Origins books and let me just say WOW!! I love it.

I look forward to your last few chapters. I hate to see it end.

Thank you so much for the wonderful read.

Sincerely,

Amber

YES!!!,YES!!!!,&YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, awesome!!! I always wanted Spike to be part of the aristocracy, to have a title, estates and a financial treasure waiting to be tapped. I only started this epic about 50 hrs ago, and I was so eager for the next chapter I didn't want to take the time to review individual chapters (plus my computer skills shame my 8 yr old). Your writing is phenomenal. To be able to create this reality in your mind and to have the unique genius and patience to express yourself with words that are vivid and succinct is incredible. Dialogue and action are balanced, the omniscent paragraphs allow us insights to the individual characters, (I never liked Travers until now) and I love the pop culture references and the the slow transformation of Willow and Xander that not everything is black and white. I ask for a blessing for your health and your muse, Thank you for being an amazing and superbly talented bard.

James Joyce...I like it :)

So glad that is not the last chapter. Thanks for all the hard work you've put into this Epic Trilogy. The whole thing has been a wonderful story.

Can't wait for the ending. I really hope you manage to tell Willow about Tara and Oz being pregnant...that would be really satisfying, since in a way Willow deserves to be hit in the face that she'll never get Tara back. Plus the Oz/Tara relationship really works. From the way I interpret what you've written; they love each other but aren't in love. They have a healthy relationship and a sense of family. To my mind a sense of belonging somewhere is more important than hot monkey sex.

You're a star! *hugs*

The start sounds as if you had forgotten to mark it as finished.
After reading what Sam was thinking and then about Kennedy I've feared that she would do something stupid. Maybe she did.
Awe :) Buffy, Spike and the babies, talking about baby names? That was so sweet.
Tough decision for Jenner to let Faith go if she wants; and just hope she'll come back.
Four more prophecies? Seems Buffy's future won't be boring (as if the had ever been a chance for that).
And the mentioning of James Robert Joyce Kirsten reminds me that there is still a story left of yours I have to finish reading.
And I'm glad there's more to read. It was fun 'watching' Spike when Nicholson told the story.

I loved the chapter and the babies names were appropriate. I am glad that Buffy was welcoming to Xander but what was Spike's reaction? I am sorry that this story is coming to an end I have enjoyed it.
