So it took Spike some time but he remembered? Or did he only remember what he wrote down from his dreams (because he doesn't remember what happened in the Garden when he's awake again). Ah and he met Dawn and Fran too (they were at the Garden.) Now I wonder if Doyle was there too.
So Spike is upset because he didn't remember her. I'm glad that it matters to him that he didn't (remember). *shudders at the thought that Spike would meet Buffy in real life and get together with Dawn*. Buffy fears that, and that he is bored with her too. But he isn't (bores of her) in the Garden and that's a 'second life' for them. Are they really so different between the two places? ~ Oh I see, Spike wants his chance. Unexpected that Giles is giving this to him after more then twenty years (I guess as long as Xander knows Spike, I didn't count the years) were they were together at night. I hope he makes the best thing out of this chance. I thought they had to die to be together in the next life (well they can have that too, or?)

Author's Response: he was given all his memories back, he remembered everything!! Buffy didn't think that Spike would get with dawn, she just pointed out that she was a lot older than his normal girlfriend yes it had been 20 years, before Giles handed over the information, but this was the time it was right, and that is important. many thanks for the review. more soon
