Well for me I notice(d) the warning about the xx/other; I just don't like them. It's harder for me to read if they have been together. And sometimes the reason I won't start a fic. Reading a WIP doesn't allow you to know how the story ends ;-)
~ I'm sad for them that they have to part here for a year. Spike doesn't even remember the dream much. I like the thought the woman had: Every girl, every woman deserves the memory of a loving first time That was a memory Buffy didn't have in that life. Otherwise: Love the spuffyness in the chapter.

So, basically, they don´t get to be with each other in their current real life at all, and they are supposed to concentrate on their real lifes, which is for Spike raising a kid with someone he´s not in love with, and for Buffy to continue with a completely boring life that contains no love except for the one in her dreams, which she can´t have anymore, either.
Whether you would even write about that future life where they get to be together is unclear yet, and they are not supposed to be with each other in dreams now either because of that interfering with real life.
Are you mad or what? Where is this supposed to be Spuffy?

Awe, Spike was so nervous he couldn't lit the match.
Good that Spike explained. Buffy wasn't aware that Spike felt so used because he is famous now, even his girlfriend. But loving each other wasn't enough before for Spike, he still had a girlfriend and affairs (like Anya) and look what it brought him. But he has changed.
Buffy took it well that Spike will become a father and that it isn't hers. But I disagree a bit what Buffy said later: But whatever happens down there, even if we marry someone else, we still have here. Not because that isn't true, it is. I'm just thinking it isn't fair to marry someone, promise to love and cherish the other and yet at night have somebody else you're yearning for. Not fair to yourself neither to the other in question (that he/she married).
Buffy has an other insight of Anya, besides Spike, being a counselor. Maybe she's right.
Good idea about the house. I wonder if Buffy will have a place there too (since they are only meeting in their special heaven yet). Good that Spike (and I guess Buffy too) feel at peace now.

I just found this story and read it all the way through. I'm really enjoying it; and I think you are dealing with difficult themes very sensitively. One problem I have though, is that in some chapters you seem to be repeating yourself, like the chapter that Spike tells Buffy about his exciting new show, he seems to be telling her twice. I don't know if you will understand what I mean, but I am confused by that. Other than that though, I'm really enjoying your story and I can't wait to read more.

It is Spike's child, right? Would be a shame if Spike has to pay lots and lots for a child that isn't his. She wants more and more money? Not good, their relationship will be stressed.
Oh Buffy noticed that Spike was there? No, she shouldn't give up, he still cares.
Dawn Anne Doyle? I wonder if she is related to another player (though the name wasn't mentioned before).
