What a great day - hearing the Buffster speak her mind to both Cordy & Angel - well, not speak exactly. Also loved your getting Cordelia to give Angel what-for. Lovely chappy.

I'm not sure how I managed NOT to read this chapter before today. I'll blame it on heatstroke or something. Anyway. This was a truly great update. I laughed my ass off at the antics and really wished Angel's head was... misplaced when Cordy screamed.

Oh honey, thank you for this chapter and mentioning me, luv u to pieces. And what a brilliant chapter this was. Glad Buffy put Angel in his place... ass that he is. And oh NO, Spike is blind? Author's Response: WOW! Ummm wow, thanks! I'm glad you like the story, cause I was really tired of the usual Something Blue fics that I kept finding - so why not do my own? Spike had to have a wealth of knowledge stored up, why can't the chip activate it? hehehehe. Thanks for the comments and I'll be updating soon hopefully (if I can kick the muse's little heinie into gear!)

At last Spike knows now that he feared in vain... (regarding Buffy and Angel). Too late anyway, now the spell is gone.
Good to know that screaming - by Cordelia this time - will kill the Gentlemen. Bad turn of events though, Spike now being blind. At last he's not dust... hopefully getting the chip out and some slayer's blood will make a quick recovery.

Author's Response: Poor Spike is gonna wish he were dust by the end of it all. But hopefully Buffy will pull him through! And I wouldn't count on the Slayer blood helping him - there won't be time! Thanks Cordy!

The new Spike development was so sad. :( I hope things get better for him soon. On the upside of things Cordy absolutely rocked in this chapter... lol! Loved how she told Angel off. :D The Giles/Spike moment was also great. And I liked that Buffy looked at Angel with clear eyes. Thanks for the wonderful update, Carrie! :)

I'm so happy to see that you've updated, but you are breaking my heart with every chapter of this story :)

Poor Spike, I just want to smush all those horrible initiative soldiers under a giant boot like the insignificant bugs they are! But I'm happy to see that Buffy is finally seeing and appreciating him for what he is....

Loving this story more and more with every word! Can't wait for more

So... I'm at work and have sworn to myself I'll actually work... after I read Omni!

LOVED the update, but the following had me in stitches:

He certainly didn’t want to hear about Mr. Broody the Great now that he’d had a taste of Buffy…it would make Spike as miserable as the bastard himself, and he might take up brooding just to avoid the whole mess.

In the words of Buffy Summers, Giles was not a happy camper.

Buffy rationalized in her mind that what she was about to do next was for the sake of everyone’s sanity. But when it came right down to it, she only wanted one good reason to slap Cordelia Chase.

Hell had even spat him back out, the thought causing Buffy to snort mirthlessly. He probably had tried to take over, and Old King Louie just didn’t seem the type to share.

“Oh no way buddy! You can’t order me around; I don’t worship the rose-strewn path that you tread upon like Buffy did! Oh poor Angel, cursed with a soul…Oh poor Angel, can’t sleep with Buffy cause she gave him a happy…Oh poor…ugh, you know what? I’m making myself sick with this crap. Let’s get this over with. I’m tired, I want to go back to L.A., and I want my Coach handbag!”

AND OMFA!!! Spike is blind??? Can we stop with kick-the-Spike, ALREADY? Let him be happy for a while, he didn't even get to enjoy Buffy almost killing the poof like he should have *pouts*

Author's Response: Heheh, I always wanted Buffy to slap Cordy in the series... so now I get to indulge in that little idea! And as I'm watching Angel season 1, I can so totally see Cordy hurling that little tirade at Angel. Can't stop with the kicking Spike's ass just yet hun... sorry :( - *cringes* it might even get worse? (please don't hurt me!)

Jeez What a rollercoaster of a chapter!

Loved it all and grrr to Angel still being alive! Chuckled at the position that Giles fouind himself in weldone on that one!

and and... OMG! Poor Spike stupid bloody Angel hitting him, he's made him go blind by shifting the bloody chip... If Buffy doesn't kill him soon... I will!

Author's Response: Hope you didn't get sick on the rollercoaster! hehehehe. Yeah, I wanted to kill Angel myself, but the evil rabid plot bunny wouldn't let me kill him (I''m seriously thinking of eating him). Oh that chip was well on its way to making Spike blind - it just needed one more hard shove and POP! You may kill Angel AFTER the fic is done - by that time, he'll be back in LA and I can't keep track of him there ;) Yeah, life is crazy at the moment because Dave has to have surgery - so I'm a bit scattered at the mo. Sorry haven't been around - my bad - but I'll try soon! Thanks love for the review!

So glad to see this update. Poor Spike! Blind now but at least his fears about Angel have to have abated. Love Buffy making that point to him and finally seeing Angel clearly!

Author's Response: Thank you so much Kathleen! I wouldn't say that Spike's fears about Angel have been laid to rest - there's more to come on that front - and Spike has always come 2nd to Angel on manny occasions, and he thinks this is just another one of those times. I wish I could have dusted Angel, but my evil rabid plot bunny wouldn't let me. (I'm tempted to eat him). Thanks for the wonderful review, and thanks for sticking with me on this story!
