LOVED how that reanimation worked out for this chapter, you did an excellent job, *appluds*. You evil... evil author you. This e-n-t-i-r-e chapter was so riveting and had such emotional impact and then BAM - ya leave us hanging, stake in mid-plunge and Spike coming awake? Oooooooooo - you know I'm going to hound you for that romantic 'You're alive' moment as well as some MAJOR spuffy luvin that HAS to happen, wink-wink, nudge-nudge. Fabulous chapter, the best one yet... yet meaning until the spuffy luvin - LMAO. Squishes you oh-so-tight my dear friend.

Gah... it looked very bad and with the end of the chapter, Buffy reading to kill Spike, I feared the worst!

This chapter had some really great dialogue, Carrie. I especially enjoyed Xander's lines, and his interaction with the other characters. I also liked how Giles let his inner Ripper loose. And I really appreciate your reassuring author's note, cause stabbing sleeping beauty... I mean Spike would be all kinds of bad. ;-)Wonderful update!

Author's Response: Ahhh, I love Ripper. I do have to say, the more I write Giles, the more backbone I give him. I really hate weakness in him for some reason - like he was there just to wipe his glasses and mutter. And I love playing with Xander in this fic, it was so easy!
