well they all knew it would go bad so why was Spike ready to walk away right away, I would be mad to if the person I loved, was away like that for over a year and then walked back into my life. Not smooth sailing at all.

Spike is so wrong here. Buffy showed she changed the last year in Sunnydale. She got his chip out and took his side over Giles' for Pete's sake. Then she told him she loved him, which she doesn't say easily. Gotta say, if I was Buffy here, I would have a hard time ever getting over Spike's "betrayal". And she doesn't even know that while she was depressed and grieving, he shagged Harmony! Don't know -hopefully Spike has a grand gesture that proves he still has feelings for Buffy because he certainly hasn't been acting like it.

Author's Response: Spike's blinded by stubborness and anticipating Buffy and the Scoobies treating him as usual. He's yet to be persuaded that they see him differently - but don't worry! Spike was wrong in not to tell Buffy that he was back to a point. Cause I can understand why he did that.
I can also understand why after fighting with the Angel gang he knows how it is to really have friends who are there for you and cares what happen to you. I can understand that after that Spike wasn't sure to go back to the scoobies.
I completely understand why Spike needs to feel that he is wanted and love and not just from Buffy. I think from the whole group.
But I'm not saying that I don't understand where Buffy is coming from either. She loves him more than anything and was so depressed because of him. He has been back all this time and didn't say anything. That must hurt to know.
But they both hurt each other so much. That Spike was confuse on how Buffy really feels.
But now they have a new beginning. And I hoping that they get their head together and realize that they have something special and precious.
So, please give us our Spuffy . LOL sorry that i wrote a lot.
