I wonder if Buffy (or Spike) has a clue how to go back.... now that they are in the desert. It isn't so warm there? Maybe Buffy has a fever now.
I don't trust the rider that Buffy saw either; he is definitely not totally human. Maybe he is McGee?
Uh-huh, Buffy has indeed a fever. No way she can fight any 'baddies' now.

I have to agree with Spike in a way, but I do believe it will bring them closer together.
