Glad he found a place that was pretty Buffy friendly. He really is all about her, and he hasn't quite figured it all out yet. And his thoughts about meeting up with his old family, perhaps in need of a bit of closure, but he truly has become his own vamp... except for the fact that he's really Buffy's. :)
Author's Response: No crypt for this Spike, LOL. I never liked how, in the show, Angel got the cool little apartment and the mansion (not to mention what he got on his own show--but then, it was his show) while Spike had the factory (which was okay), a crypt, and the school basement. But it wouldn't really make sense for this Spike to live in a crypt, anyway. But yes, he's got to find a Buffy friendly place because he very much is Buffy's vamp. :)

Spike plotting and planning was nicely drawn, and I enjoyed his musing on Angelus. There's a boat load of hate there, I hope Spike does get to beat the tar out of him.

Loved Spike's musings; indeed it is inconvenient to have to change your paperwork once in a while because of the date of birth...
As long as Spike has a place to store the cash he'll be good.
Just read your answer; I read S&D friendship ; will add it to memories then (but I'm late reading here so I don't know when I have time to read).

AWWW I LOVE THAT HE WENT BACK TO HER AND THEN SLEPT IN HER BED, HE TOTALLY WANTS TO BE WITH HER!! i LOVE this story and am so happy that u updated. i love that he doesnt want to kill her and that he wants to kill angelus and darla, i CANT wait for them to die. i really hope that spike an buffy continue to get closer and that everything works out well. also i hope that angelus doesnt kill anyone close to buffy. Loved seeing Spike's pov in this chapter , very enlighening, and of course I enjoyed those interjections of humor here and there. It was after Darla had returned that Angelus came back to his old self. Very interesting indeed - I'm very curious how he 'got so happy'.

Nice to know that Spike is onboard and committed to helping Buffy deal with his "family".
Now, who is going to learn of Spike's presence in Sunnydale first.... Gile, et al., Joyce, or Angelus?

Loved, loved, LOVED the backstory on Spike and his ramblings on Angelus, Darla and Dru, it does explain quite a bit of why he is like he is. I'm looking forward to more!

Another great update! Informative but not stifling, exposing feelings and thoughts but with a few chuckle-worthy moments in for balance! I love this more and more, can't wait to see what happens when Spike actually meets his 'family' or (of course) how he and Buffy will come closer together!

Author's Response: Glad you liked! The meeting with the family will be coming soon, I swear. :) (Gah, I keep saying that to people, and yet it always seems to be still coming later. We're 7 chapters in to the SD part, and have only covered like two days of Buffy's new life. I really should have learned my lesson by now, that anything I write is about 2 to 3 times as long as I think it's going to be. Anyway, long story short, the (first) Angelus meeting is coming up, and I think the Sunnydale part is going to last much longer than 30 chapters.)
