Spike's feelings for Buffy are so stark and raw, it's no wonder she can't let go of him. The revenge scenario was actually brilliant, but, Buffy's right, Spike's plan was so cold and calculating it was chilling. No matter, bottom line is Darla's dead and Angelus is going to be furious. Here's hoping Spike and Buffy are ready for him.
Spike breaking into Giles' apartment was lovely. He's not a rule follower, that's for sure. His support of Buffy is charming, especially in light of his evil nature. His fussing is just as endearing as Joyce's.
Author's Response: Nope, Spike is definitely not a rule follower. :) He doesn't care what anyone but Buffy thinks, and even then, sometimes not, depending on what it is. Yes, Buffy has realized the chilling aspect of how Spike killed Darla. Thanks for reviewing!

They're talking again which is a good thing although they obviously still have a lot to discuss. Spike taking care of Buffy was lovely and his statement "He tried to take what I need most....." was quite telling. Another fab chapter.

Hmmmmm, well on their way to making up I see - that's of the good, I like that. I'm sure they still have a lot to discuss, but I can see Buffy is grateful in her own way. Loved the chapter honey, here's hoping for another speedy update and sorry I missed reviewing last chapter so late - huggles.

Ah... not sure how Giles will take the fact that Spike is a vamp. Better to wait and let Giles see how helpful Spike is for Buffy. Ah I wondered what woman Spike meant.

IM SO GLAD THAT HE WENT BACK TO HER, HOW SWEET!! i LOVE this story and am so happy that u updated. i think its so sweet that spike wants to go after angelus and i hope that buffy doesnt start to see spike in a different light because of wat he did to darla. also i hope that they admit their feelings soon and that they get together soon. Wow. Just simple words strung together, but such a pwerful arrangement. Love the intimacy you have drawn between in this chapter, both at Giles & again in her bedroom. Nothing sexual. Nothing romantic. Still very intimate. Great job.
