Good to get an update on Angelus and Dru, though I still have no idea what exactly they are up to. At some point, I imagine all hell will break loose. Do hope Buffy has a chance to confess her feelings before then. Always glad to see more of this story.

I love that this Buffy has her eyes wide open, she's not romanticizing the Spike she's in love with. His past is part of what makes him whole, and she may not love what he's done, but she has to accept it. It bodes well for them being able to build a life together. It was wonderful getting into her head as she pondered her feelings for him.
Angelus with a plan is very worrisome indeed! I loved the image of Dru all dressed up for a road trip.
Author's Response: Yes, Buffy definitely realizes what she's getting into with Spike. She has to take all of him or take none of him. And glad you liked Dru! Juliet Landau has such classic features, and I thought Drusilla would look perfect all dressed in the "old way" for going for a car ride. And I can totally see Dru doing it, since she almost dresses out of another time anyway.

Grrr! Damn that Angelus for taking the "Awwww" out of an otherwise awww-worthy chapter! I loved the insight to Buffy's thoughts and am now dreading how Angelus' plan will pan out.

Well, this certainly ups the tension. I'm very anxious to see what happens between Spike, Buffy, Angelus, and Drusilla. It's gonna be interesting.
I loved the part where Buffy was thinking upon Spike. She's so mature in your story. She's able to recognize their extreme differences and deal with them and love him for the good stuff. I love that about your Buffy. It's the mark of a mature person who can have a long, dedicated relationship with another person.

Oh my... Angelus has a plan and methinks it may involve magic... not good. Don't you just love to write him as evil though? I know I do, lol. I hope Buffy has a chance to tell Spike she loves him before Angelus makes it to town and causes havoc. Things are going to get interesting soon - I can feel it. Fisrt of all, sorry for not having reviewed (and even read up until now) the previous chapters. I was in a rush with RL so I couldn't keep up with the updates. I will, however, be keeping up to date from now on. With that said, I love this fic more and more by the chapter, the ways you explain things and the route our couple has to take are pretty innovative and interesting. Also, I can't wait for the shiw-down between Angel and Spike - it should be really good! Thank you for writing!
