Dru and Darla have now done their part to be kept away from the wedding. The fight was fun and furious and I laughed at the image of Faith and Buffy sitting on the two complaining about the lousy quality of their weapons and their inability to fight. Anne is going to be well coddled in Buffy and William's household.

I'm looking forward to more punishments coming for William's ill mannered family.

SO VERY, very glad to see a new update, and hope things are looking up for you now as well. So sorry for your loss, and the troubles that came your way. Hope writing is uplifting for you and that us nagging you for new updates is not a bother. I just loved this chapter and the part about the girls sitting on the two hussies while having knife-throwing practice and commenting on the quality of the blades was so funny! I loved that Buffy already considers and calls Anne her mother, as does Connor call/consider her grandmother. I was rather hoping Father (Brother?) Rupert would be the one to perform the wedding ceremony. This is an interesting way in which to "twist" Dru's madness into the fic...very good vehicle to do so. And just figures that Darla would pull a 'knife'--equivalent at that time to the 'gun' she'd pulled on Buffy in the show. I hope Harold and Liam don't escape from the Priory, though I wouldn't doubt it, slipperier than eels...and if they do can they at least have the sense to go to another country? Just leave while the getting is good before the great lords get out four horses and some leather straps and chains...ewwww.
Can't wait for more, and tho' I don't always review, you know I love it. As you are able to, please write more...

Hee, this was a perfect way to deal with those two crows. I hope that's the last we know of her, although I know we wouldn't be so lucky. At least Buffy and Faith won the upper hand easily enough and they could defend Anne from them. Loved the chapter, I'm looking forward to more!

So even if Liam and Harold are a danger it's a known danger; they can be watched. Loved Buffy's threat be enough so Ingimund didn't have to add to his orders.
Heh heh loved the scene when Connor 'volunteered' to go to the market.
Awe, and I absolutely loved Buffy and Faith defending Anne. Dru and Darla had it coming for a long time. At last they picked the wrong fight this time *gg*
