I just love the update. At least Spike didn't make a fool out of himself when he say Buffy with Angel. And you just have to love the innocence of Will. He is just the cutest little boy.

Ah sweet :) Spike knows now how it feels to be jealous of the one he loves; he forgets that it was him leaving Buffy. ~ But the best thing was indeed that Spike was jealous for nothing ;)

That was a roller coaster... yeah, there's still a lot of stuff from the past they have to deal with. Hard to forget that you got hurt.

Author's Response: So far it's been a bit of a bumpy road and I know that Buffy's been on quite the roller coaster. She's the one who's raised their son and she's thinking about him and her heart. Ultimately this is a Spuffy romance... so no need to fear them not getting together in the end. Any advice on how to play out Joyce's illness though? I could use a little input on that part of my storyline. :)

It was really the right decision for Spike to come to Sunnydale. But a tough question Buffy asked at the end of the chapter (even if I can totally understand where that did come from).
Hopefully Spike can find the right answer.

Author's Response: Thanks hun! It was tough and I felt her emotion as I was trying to find a way for her to say what she needed to say. Things have been getting better for them, but I need something to slow them down a bit too. I think he'll find the right answer though. :)

A sad reason to come home; I can understand why Buffy forgot to call Spike. But he was clever enough to find out where she was even before he called. I think now Buffy will get a surprise :)

Author's Response: She'll be getting a surprise all right. I think there will be a few surprises around the corner for our love birds. I just have to work out the kinks and try to make them behave. They seem to be acting of their own accord in chapter 9.
