Oh happy day! Three cheers for smutty vampire love! Excellent chapters, and I'm glad Buffy finally believes him. And I was pleased at the unexpected turn of events. Drusilla turning Spike for Buffy rather than herself was very interesting. That was pretty nice of her, I think. Such an excellent job, I can't wait for more!

Im certainly glad that Spike came out the same. He's still in love with Buffy even after he's been turned by his own wife. For a while i thought the worst. He could be like Angel and go after Drusilla. Thankl you for not letting that happen....

I kinda figured this was gonna happen... I wasn't quite sure whether it would be Angelus or a vamped Dru to turn him---or I'd wondered if he'd be so injured that
Buffy would be forced to turn him to save him---but you settled, I think on the simplest solution. My only question is about Angelus being able or even wanting to keep Dru with him for 10 yrs---and Buffy had no clue the whole time. Did he want to be with her the whole time? Or had he stashed her someplace til this event? Sorry, just felt it was a 'loose end'. Funny now, too they all have the same blood flowing through them, and are family===therefore are connected.
Will Spike claim Buffy? I thought that was where this was heading but it didn't seem to go there? (Or Buffy claiming him for that matter as well...)
Anyway, loving the tale. SO very glad you made Spike how he is and why we all love him---his absolute and exquisite uniqueness... of course he would still love. I AM surprised tho' in a way, that he has lost his soul/conscience, I guess. I'm fine with it, but I guess I just kinda figured he/d carry his mission over with him still; just modifying who & how he hunted and the why being pretty much the same... even tho' unsouled.... oh well....
I also did not quite realize that Spike WANTED to be turned due to his own inner darkness... that much didn't translate into the storyline quite plainly enough to me. I just thought he wanted to be turned in order a) to be strong enough to kill Angelus and b) to be with Buffy since it seemed there was no common ground for them to live in otherwise.
So, even in this AU, Dru turns out to be "his salvation"! Good deal. And she is so much better when even semi-lucid! Wonderful for her to at least think of caring for her William.
