I really do hope that anything doesn't go wrong between Spike and Buffy. I also feel that Billy seems to like Buffy more than Spike. I hope that isn't the case. I so want to see Spike and Billy have good father and son relationship. I don't want anybody to come between them even Buffy. Although, I am still having trouble liking Billy. I don't know why I am not liking him. I don't hate him but I don't really like him either. LOL
I wasn't sure if I was going to continue reading this because it almost seem like Spike might have known something was wrong. But after reading the last few chapters that if he ever knew that Billy was being abused by Dru then Spike would have taken Billy away right away.

I love this paragraph.

"Of course, in his head, he had already moved on a long time ago. But in his heart, it was a different matter. Not that he still had any romantic feelings left for Dru; those feelings had conveniently died the moment he found out what she had been doing behind his back. But at the same time, he couldn’t help but mourn the loss of his failed marriage; just when did things start to get so horribly wrong? He and Dru had been really happy together, at least for a little while."


I think that is what most people would feel in that situation. Not that you still have feelings for the other person but you still mourn the loss of your marriage. It really is heart breaking when one person thinks their marriage is great and then all of sudden you find out it isn't. Your marriage and your family just completely shatters in a mintue. That made me want to give Spike a hug.
I love the story "Healing" probably more than this one. So, I don't mind seeing lots of updates for that one. LOL Sorry, for the long review
