Love the story, it is really blended well into the time period. The tenuous truce between Spike and Buffy is reminiscent of times past in the future. Don't know what to expect next, that is why I'm enjoying this story. Look forward o more.

He reckoned it was being close to a sodding Slayer that was making him have all these weird emotions. It was something catching! Like measles. Heh :) Funny of Spike (even he didn't indent it to be funny).
Doesn't sound as if Spike can convince Buffy to rescue those vamps to gain a vampire army.
Buffy looked a bit sick? I guess it was green, being jealous.

Still here and still love this fic. Hope Spike doesn't get captured while on his quest for water. Can't wait for Buffy to slip up and reveal a little more than she planned. I know its only a matter of time.
I really like the pace of the relationship that is slowly developing on Spike's side. He dosen't know what to make of this girl who should hate him, but clearly doesn't. More soon please?

Ah, Buffy wasn't careful. The soldiers are just fighters but the ones that don't look like soldiers, the civilians, can be even worse back then.

As I was checking for recent updates I thought ...I hope Lilachigh has added another chappie and there you were. (Does happy dance.) I love this story, although it is so good that its almost painful waiting for the next chapter. LOL I'm waiting for Buffy's first slip up where she accidently says or does something that clues Spike in to the fact that she knows him. Can't wait for your next update.

Great glimpses into Spike an Buffy's heads. Even though I feel bad about Buffy's situation I'm glad she gets to grace Spike with her presence for a bit longer.

I'm loving how the Spuffyness is kicking in. Spike and Buffy are definitely fighting a losing battle in the attracted to each other department, hopefully their battle with the baddies will fair better. And I'm also liking that Giles is up to something. Wonderful chapter!

This is one of my favorite fics now a days and sometimes it physically hurts me at the rate you update. But as they say perfection takes patience!! Yes indeed, poor Giles resigning himself to the fact that Buffy would let the world sink into Hell for Spike. This based on perception instead of actual knowledge. Giles is smarter than what he is given credit for!!!
