I guess it was Dr. Chase calling Buffy in the other chapter? I feared something wasn't right with that, didn't guess a doctor.
Poor Buffy though, after all she got through she's ill too. I hope it can be treated / she'll get well again.

so wait, she has leukemia and her father beat on her? that's seriously messed up, definitely not like the movie. i really hope this one has a better ending, as in that she doesn't die, i usually don't like to read about character deaths.
