Would have been good for Buffy if Wesley had told Buffy about the other vampire pregnancy but I think Wesley could reassure Buffy enough that her child is human.

Author's Response: Aw, thanks Cordy! Yeah, I have no plans of bringing Angel into this story at all, so the least he's brought up to Buffy the better. Of course, if he knew she was carrying Spike's baby, he'd come charging in, so he has no need to know. LOL

That was exactly how I expected Spike to find out. I knew he was going to find the pregnancy test and assume it was Dawn, it was too funny. As for the baby being anything other than human, I'm not worried about that, I agree with it being a miracle. Those two couldn't have anything else.

Buffy was a bit moody but also dizzy again - not good to see (worrisome).
Ah too bad Spike hasn't the ring of Amara any longer then he had no problem to get to Buffy in the daylight to the hospital - at last with less danger than only using a blanket.
And you're sneaky, Buffy is indeed pregnant :D With the claim thing (and not answering to my comment) you've distracted me.

I'm starting to become suspicious of Travers and the Watchers Council. Something seems pretty fishy. Dana needs some sort of super psychologist/therapist who knows all about demons because therapy would definitely be helpful. Poor Buffy seems pretty scared. Love the scene where she tests if Spike has super vamp hearing. Happens so often in other stories, it was pretty funny that he didn't hear anything. Can't wait for the next one. :-)
Author's Response: Thanks Demona! Spike might be able to detect the heartbeat later. It's just so early in the pregnancy. I've been researching, and apparently heartbeats can be detected as early as 4 weeks, but I guess not very often. Still...you never know what to expect with a Slayer and a Vampire's child!

OMG I loved this chappie! So Buffy is really pregnant,but she's totally freaking out. I don't blame her, but she has to tell Spike or he's gonna get upset that she kept it from him, especially if he does hear the baby's heartbeat.
Didn't like Dana's convo with Travers, especially his comments about Spike, it's making me nervous for him.*eep*

Author's Response: LOL, thanks Jaden! Yeah, there's a vampire baby in the 4th Twilight book. In Twilight, the vampires have skin that's like hard as stone or something, and the mother is human at the time, while the baby's part vampire. So, the baby's really strong and is surrounded by the granite-like skin stuff in the womb. So everytime the baby kicks, it like breaks another bone in the mother's ribs. FUN! No, Buffy won't have anything like that. LOL!
