I really like your characterization of Buffy in this story. And watching Spike begin to feel compassion but still casually feed is a really interesting juxtaposition that highlights his complexity. The image of Spike hijaking the father with two strollers makes my stomach churn and paints such a stark contrast to his interior thoughts and feelings.
I'm really interested to see where you take this story line. I vote for updates.

Author's Response: He was still evil. I wanted to portray an image of what he was prior to his change over to good. It was the least evil thing I could have him do especially since Dru ran away so the feeding never took place. No worries about making your stomach churn anymore. I think that's pretty much the worst thing that Spike does in this flick. I'm not big on the whole eating people thing..
