And good that Spike was there; Kim would have robbed Buffy if it hadn't been for him.
Sad for Buffy to leave the cat behind, he became a friend for her. Kim is too new for her.
If Spike continues feeding it will cause a problem with Buffy I fear.

Author's Response: I had posted 1-5 possibly 6 a while ago. When a beta picked me up, she requested I delete the story and restart from scratch only posting when she finished a chapter. I listened and deleted the story. So there were rewritten parts and parts added in the new rewritten chapters. I have another beta now who isn't as strict about that kind of thing but hopefully she stands by me so this story will be posted as betaed rather than as written. Sorry you had to reread it. (it was Kim hitting on Spike in the previous version)
