For someone who is pretty new to Spuffy writing, you've definitely nailed what I've always wondered what happened at the end of season 6 for Spike. Nice weaving of Spike's past as the mother of all guilt trips. It's a wonder how Spike was able to even make it out of that African cave back to the Sunnydale high basement.

That last "memory" gave us a little glimpse of what it might have been like between Buffy and Spike during their affair. If only it happened...
