Beautifully written first time love scene filled with all the tenderness, love and sensuality needed to make it epic. Buffy having her period making her leave Spike is poor timing indeed, hope that she hasn't crossed paths with someone who did her harm. Look forward to more.

They really needed that final connection, both of them. Awe, Buffy said it back! A great gift for Spike. The biggest one she could give him yet. Maybe too when she said demon or man, it doesn't matter.
But Spike still has to tell what he does at night when he's away.

Wonder whom Buffy saw - hopefully nothing bad (because she got scared or is only surprised). And Spike can't get out in daylight...

Author's Response: She did! :D It was the best thing she could give Spike, as he'd never really been loved that way, which I find depressing because he loves with everything he is.
