I believe Maggie and Mark have met their match. The Knowledge that they gave Cam is going to come back and bite them in the ass. I have no doubt that Cam will be able to reverse what was done to Spike. I am dying to know what Cam asked Craig to do. I really do think they need Willow. With her and Cam's intelligence and Spike's and Buffy's strength they will be unstoppable. I hope you have a painful end for Maggie and Mark all planned out. I can't wait for Monday.

all I could think was "oh no" when Willow transported using Cam's soul to guide her - but whew it worked out so far. I am now eagerly awaiting the next chapter and what will happen if Buffy finds Spike or if Maggie gets Buffy - you are still the best at evil and keeping us hanging on! (congrats on 100!)

Well I am back. I try and try to stay away, but can not seem to stay away. I can not say that I have enjoyed the last several chapters, but I can not say that they were not well done. Many of my favorite books are not easy to read, the difference is that they are finished when I start reading. Yes I am one that will read the last few pages if I get to upset. I am relying on your promise for a happy ending. I am hoping a happy ending is not that the family gets a new pet named Spike. Also please put your sadistic talents(I mean that in a positive way) to good use when it comes to Maggie and Mark getting what they deserve.

It's a shame that you've had some negative feedback about this fic, yes it is very dark and disturbing, but you did make this clear when you started posting it so I am a bit baffled why some are not happy with it.
The writing is excellent and I read every chapter with my breath held, praying when I open up each chapter if that is going to be the one where Walsh gets her comeuppance.
It's going to be interesting to see how you manage to get things put right at the end of the fic.

I agree that being 'told off' for being dark when it has been warned of is a little odd, and sometimes they are a little harsh. I think this is perhaps a story some should read when complete. I came back to see if you were still torturing Spike.. and maybe had some type of storyline going besides this.. getting worse it seems.

Though I will have to say that although I will take it as a compliment when you say I have the talent to write somethng better - I am proud of how this story is written and of the plot. Perhaps it would have been fairer to say the talent to write something to your taste or not so dark ,rather than better? I have promised Maryperk a fluffy spuffy so perhaps you will try that when it gets posted? :D

Cam is going to blame himself when he realises eventually what Maggie made him do to Spike. Can't wait for more!

Shudder.... Can things get any more hopeless? I hate the thought of Cam on the happy drugs. Hopefully he does not spill the beans to Walsh about his renewed feeling in his toes. And I can't believe what they've done to Spike - just using him as their punisher. How can he possibly be put back to normal? Only you know the answers so naturally I'll keep reading. This is so angsty but so well written. I look forward to your updates.

Oh, no! Making Cam almost like Riley was (yet thankfully not an Adam nor, hopefully (if I understood correctly), completely like Gunn (soulless, yes, but not lower-halfless?). Yay to the Resistance! I'm wondering if Maggie turns Spike loose on Cam, Craig or even Buffy, if he will remember their scent (even if he can't remember his own name) or 'signature'; wondering if he's got that 'hardwired' into him from his (previous) love for Buffy and family, seeing them literally as family, as "HIS", as clan, per se?
