Once in a while a story is published on this site that reads like a novel and this is one of those times. I'm so glad I found this story- as the above reviewer stated your images are terrifying and your writing is excellent. The whole concept of the story is utterly fascinating. I just now found this story. I have the read the first part 'Tracker' and I loved it. Probably one of the best written stories ever. I can't believe that you updated this 15 or 14 times before I noticed that it was a sequel to 'Tracker' Wow, at least I found it now.
On to the review of this story. I'm loving a lot too. I almost cried in the beginning when Buffy and the boys thought Spike killed himself because he couldn't deal with not being able to see. That must have hurt them especially Buffy a lot. Also, for Spike that he is once again in that awful place where they torture him. Poor, poor Spike. Now they know that Spike is still alive but now Cam is captured as well. Just awful. I do hope that nothing really terrible happens to Cam. He is a young boy and human. He may not be able to cope with it. I don't want anything else to happen to Spike either but he has been there before and he is stronger. Not only physical stronger but probably emotionally stronger. Spike would be better to survive this though everything. So, please don't let anything terrible happen to Cameron. Knowing Spike he would probably feel guilty if anything really terrible happen to Cam. I'm sure he already feels guilty on what they did to Craig. Poor Craig on not being able to play baseball anymore. That has got to hurt for Craig to realize that his dreams went down the drain. It is also nice to read a story where Buffy has aged and is like middle aged with teenage kids. You don't see that often is stories. Lucky Buffy for having a hot vampire like Spike being a nice house vamp. Have a hot vampire like Spike to care of the kids and cook dinner. Lucky Buffy. I'm not putting down you story when I say this but I hope we do get to see some Spike and Buffy time eventually. When I say that I don't mean I hope we get to read Spike and Buffy having sex. I don't care one way or another if a story has graphic sex between Spike and Buffy. What I mean by that is that it would be nice to see Spike and Buffy talking to each other and just having a little time to themselves. I just hope you get what I'm saying. I just need my Spuffy stories to have some Spike and Buffy time together is all. Like I said this isn't a put down and I will continue reading this story even if there isn't that much Spike and Buffy time but I'm hoping there is some. I don't thin you had much Spike and Buffy time in the first part either. I do love the story though and it is really well written. Sorry, for the long review but I did have 15 chapters worth to review. So, I had a lot to say and I can say a lot once I start. It is a bad habit I have. LOL

The family has been - and is still going - through the wars. There will be more of Spike and Buffy together but obviously by the very nature of the plot it will be towards the end. :)

NO NO NO. First let me say that you have a wonderful talent, but I officially cannot take anymore. The torture that Spike and Cam are going through is unbearable. I totally dread Monday. I am thinking that I really must wait to read anymore until the story is done. That being said I will probably be checking for the update on Monday. Do you know how many more chapters there will be? Even though I hate torture I hope you have something really good planned for Maggie and Mark. I have not been so emotionally involved in a story since I read Mrs Muir's Baby Series. Keep up the good work (I think).

your writing of Maggie Walsh is spot on - she is one cold hard bitch. Poor Cam - let's hope the paralysis is not permanent, please let Buffy get her hands on Walsh though I guess that will be a while coming. All I can say is you build tension so well, that my mind works overtime thinking what is coming next when I should be doing so many other things!

Another amazing chapter. I am glad that Spike's attempt to dust himself triggered his memory of Cam.
Buffy's reaction to Spike's unlife status was sort of lackluster. Maybe she was in shock. Now that Spike is sort of free I wonder what you have in store for him. I am concerned because they have turned off his vision. Several people have an ass kicking coming to them. I hope that Spike will get his revenge on Maggie Walsh.


Author's Response: You'll see a little more of B's reaction to Spike's existence in the next chapter - but she's def in shock and daren't focus on that on top of what's happened to Cam otherwise she'll fall apart. Revenge will be had - it just might take a while. :)
