They were coming to sort of understanding and then.. you can't seriolusly leave it there!
They actually talked! yay. And Spike's hard truths didn't seem quite so mean... And he was right and tried to get Buffy to see that.

"What’s the point of having the witch around except for babysitting? She doesn’t even pay her share of household expenses and she should. You need the money.” Yes, I agree, Helping while Buffy was dead doesn't really count.. Besides they weren't taking care of Dawn as a long term situation.. Willow just seems to take advantage of the free-living. She's an adult and therefore must pay for herself..

"here you are, giving up college, trying to find a job to keep food on the table and a roof over her head while still going out to slay—and all she can think about is that you’re not around to hold her hand all the time?
Pfft! So her Dad’s skedaddled and she’s lost her Mum. Haven’t you?”Loved the line!!! I never really liked Dawn, because she was too much acting like a little kid. She's old enough to understand how the world works.. And be grateful she got Buffy back but instead she's whining about that as well.. (cos Buffy wasn't all happy and didn't make all the prpblems go away)

argh! I could go on forever about those two.. They were the things that I hated the most...
And still thay get me mad!

Anyway loved the chapter!! Buffy and Spike were really getting to be quite sweet together :)


Author's Response: I couldn't understand why Willow and Tara would live in Buffy's house and eat her food and never contribute to the cost. Or why Child Services kept threatening to take Dawn away, but never insisted that Hank Summers pay child support. I like Dawn, but her dumping all the problems on Buffy got me. How old is Dawn here? Fifteen? Buffy had to kill demons at that age - she was not even sixteen when she had to be a Slayer in L.A. Eegh! Thank you for liking me having Spike point it ou! Loved it. Love Spike telling Buffy some hard truths. I also like that they seem to be a bit softer towards the other. I"m really enjoying this story so much. I always get happy when I see a new update from this story.

Another great chapter. I love Spike's talks with Buffy. Sometimes I wanna hit Buffy over the head with a bat and tell her to "think!" She just seems so close minded all the time. At least it seems she is listening to Spike and finally admits she doesn't wanna die. It's about time. And Spike helped her with that demon, it seems he does care. Even if he doesn't wanna admit it. :)

OMG evil cliffie again! So S3 Spike is back where he belongs now, huh? Wonder what S6 Spike will do now? I'm guessing he's back.

Oh you're earlier today, I didn't expect to catch the update before I go to sleep. :)
And you're right about the headache not being existent, I forgot for a moment 'when' the story is. I just thought about Spike's chip.
I'm crossing my fingers very hard that Vampkiss will come back. In the old archive are a lot of stories not posted anywhere. Same goes for Sinister Attraction, I'm still waiting for the site owner to answer my question. And the BS Diaries are still down too, Alea doesn't seem to find a solution. You might want to check The Sandlot too - lots of old stories. But all GeoCities Sites will be gone very very soon.
I'm glad for all the sites still there :D

Spike tried to talk sense into Buffy again, seeing things with his eyes. Maybe she's listening but it doesn't seem so yet. At last Spike is still watching her on patrol even if he doesn't raise a hand to help. I hope he would if Buffy was in danger.
Ah he did. Even if afterwards he wasn't sure why he did. Makes me wonder if he gets feelings after all.
*phew* Buffy decided that she wants to live again? It's good that she made the decision.
But Spike is back now in his old body?
Make me wonder very hard what will happen now. Didn't expect that now but it makes sense with Buffy on the right track.

Author's Response: It's my day off, so I was able to post earlier. :) I'm really sad too about all the sites closing. I hope no more do and that some of the others will come back. Having the Geek Trio possibly turn her into pudding made Buffy realize she wanted to live in canon. Here I used the Chiriwan and Spike instead. I'm so glad that you're not upset by it being a little more raw and dark than usual. Though I didn't think it was that bad. But some people are mad. Thank you for enjoying it!
