I think it was the situation; it was having Buffy killed or kill Dru. That's why Spike didn't think. Could have been different when he had to think a lot about it; who knows.
But I wasn't sure how Buffy would react. Spike liked it. ;))

Only in fanfic do Spike & Buffy get to a happy place that quickly. Very fast read and have to admit it not being the typical Buffy, but I think it's because I've been craving angst. Thanks for the story.
