I'm not saying that Buffy is being mean or maybe I'm just a little. LOL I just can't stand women who can't make a decision about who they want to be with especially if one of the men really loves her completely like the way Spike does with Buffy. They are just playing with a someone emotions and I just can't stand it. That is what I'm afraid that I'm going to see from this Buffy. I'm a Spuffy but there were times when I just wanted Spike to forget Buffy because she isn't worth all the pain. I almost stopped being a spuffy fan when they had Buffy kissed Angel at the end of season 7 right after she just finished telling Spike that he didn't have to be scared because she was there with him. That made me really dislike Buffy. I know that Spike loves with his whole being and that is one of the things that probably makes his character so popular. The way Spike loves is amazing and probably humans can learn a little something from Spike on how to love. But that doesn't mean that I don't want to see Spike stand up for himself every once in a while. That I don't want to see Spike tell Buffy off if she just keeps playing with his feelings and emotions. But yeah, the way Spike loves is one of the many reasons why Spike is my favorite character from the show. So, I can't but feel that Spike should forget Buffy at times when she is playing with his emotions over and over again. Spike deserves more than that. Buffy can have Thomas and I will take Spike. Spike is the superior vampire in every way. LOL

Author's Response: Hi Spikey, I'm a Spike fan pure and simple. I agree Buffy was a cow to him - in fact she was pretty much a cow to everybody in the show at some point or other! LOL! I could understand the kiss with Angel, though. But agree Spike was a bit of a wuss not to tell her where to go! LOL! Maybe you should read my all human Treading Water, cos Spike is definately not chasing after her in that one! LOL! In most of my storie, she has to convince him! Not the other way around. I just thought the contrast between a vampire who could go out in the day and one that was confined to the shadows was an interesting premise to work with. And it gave dawnofme the opportunity to do the lovely banner. I like to try to find original plots to write - not easy in a fandom as old and large as this one. :-)
