Love Buffy's foray into destruction. Such a true reaction to grief. And I'm glad she has Faith with her. Hope she can get to William soon. Vamp or not, I can't imagine him not still loving her. Update soon.

Author's Response: She was in a shock and due to her being the Slayer it threw her into the feral destructive state. She's still at the point when she can't really admit to herself that William is really dead and she can't change it. Faith will be probably the closest thing Buffy has to a friend right now. Nope, vamp or not, Buffy is still the most important thing in William's heart. :) Though thinking she's dead will drive him to do some things he probably wouldn't if he knew she were alive. More soon and thank you for the lovely review!!! :D

Thought after a while that WIlliam would die because we saw Vamp!Spike in a later chapter. Though they both think the other is dead. That's just as if the other was dead (when you think the other is). Hope that made sense.

Buffy got out of school now? *is curious* I thought she was sold, never be able to cross the school again (leave it). Ah I see. Clever - though I'm not sure why Buffy knew all of a sudden. And it was good to go with Giles (I don't think she could have left later without another fight).
And strangely Buffy is right about What if William wasn't dead at all? He might be somewhere, a hell dimension the man had taken him to, waiting for her to come for him. He could have gone to hell hadn't it been for Drusilla to turn him.
So the players are now where the should be... wonder what happens next. Looking forward to find out.

Author's Response: Yep, that was a pretty huge foreshadow of things to come. You knew he'd become a vamp, but you didn't know the circumstances... now you do! :D It made sense, don't worry I got you. ;) They both believe the other is dead and it will influence their behaviour. She was bound to school by the contract and once she destroyed them, she basically freed anyone bound by the barrier. She realized it from the dream she'd had, but it was too late. Thta's why she'll now have the guilt weighing heavily on her conscience. Had she been smarter and realized it sooner, she'd have saved him. Poor Giles will have two teenagers living with him now... bot something he's used to. Guess Dru palyed the role of saviour in this one although she turned him into a monster... at least his soul hasn't been sucked to Hell. More soon and thank you for the wonderful review!!! :)
