I was scared what her reaction would be when he bit her and I am so glad she was so understanding I can only hope that this soul doesn't backfire.

Author's Response: BuffySee? No need to be scared. She accepts him as he is because she finally realizes how lucky she is to have him at all. But her being so understanding only makes it harder for Spike because he doesn't feel he deserves that. And about the soul... guess you'll have to wait and see. ;) Thank you for the very lovely review!!! :D

I love that their passion is so uncontrolled. Even if they need to deal with that freedom of abandon, I'm glad that they are still trying. Too much good between them to stop trying. As if they ever could stay apart from each other. Loved the reunion with Faith, too. Those two have pretty exciting banter. It's not Spuffy, but I love it too. Update soon. Really enjoying this one.

Author's Response: Hee... and I love it that you love it! They pretty much can't have enough of each other and when passion takes over, all thoughts and concerns fly right out of the proverbial window. They have come this far, so no giving up for either of them. They'll brave this together. :) Because as you cleverly said, they can't stand apart from each other. It's so great to know you liked the Spike/Faith banter... I had quite fun writing it. They're just a great banter material, not as great as Spuffy of course, but good in a different way. ;) Update as soon as I get it betad, so let's hope it'll be this week yet. Thank you for the delicious review!!! :D

Poor Spike, fangy at the wrong time (well, in his mind anyways). Spike seems to have a Jimny Cricket inside him, even without the soul, too bad he doesn't see that.

Author's Response: Yup, the control slipped there for a while, but it's really not all that surprising considering the passion he and Buffy share. Spike's demon wanted to possess her completely. You're actually very right about that Jiminy Cricket thing... he does have it inside him, but he's too anxious to fix everything to see that. Thank you for the awesome review!!! :D

*gg* Fun, Spike teasing Faith. She couldn't see him good enough in the dark, huh?
Ah unexpected end of the chapter. My guess would be that the demon wants to claim Buffy that's why he bid her.
Not sure if he soul is the solution but looking forward to find out.

Author's Response: Hee... so I take it you enjoyed their interaction. ;) I had fun writing it since they're actually pretty similar in some ways. Since the light was off at first, all Faith could see was probably the shock of Spike's white radioactive (very sexy) hair. lol I like the way you think. Spike was freaked, yes, BUT... the demon in him is corresponding to Spike so it wants to possess Buffy, not kill her. Spike is afraid of unintentionally hurting her though. Hence the soul, which he sees as the answer to everything. But is it really? Guess we'll see. ;) Thank you for the yummy review!!! :D
