Such a sweet and tender chapter. I love the tentativeness between Spike and Buffy as they finally take the moment to appreciate the fact that they are both still here, and finally together. If something is meant to be, the world has a way of making it happen. Those two, clearly meant to be. Such passion that can be derived from their mutual loss. I just love it. Such power in their connection. So powerful, it almost made me forget about poor Faith coming to, kind of, on the other side of town. And our Faith seems to be quite strong. Can't wait to see what that means. Update soon.

Author's Response: I'm happy you think so, since that was I wanted it to look like. :) Isn't the most important thing the miracle that they are both alive (or undead in Spike's case ;)) and together? Buffy has come to realize that and tries to just drink in the opportunity they've been given. Sparks are flying between them right now so things might get a bit more intimate in the next chapter. ;) It will be a big step in their relationship and something new not only for Buffy but also for Spike. Your words are so kind, it's really great to know you like the connection they share. :) As about Faith... yup, she indeed seems strong and you'll find out what has happened to her though not immediately. Awwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I simply loved the spuffyness, how they got nearer again. At the moment it seems that things are okay. Hopefully it will stay this way, Spike not doing a stupid thing again.

Author's Response: Hee... you're so awesome. I just thought you should know. ;) I loved writing them all mushy and getting all cozy as well. Hmm... there might be some exciting Spuffy stuff in the next chapter, but I'm not saying anything. ;) And who knows what Spike will get into his head, let's hope nothing sinister. As with Faith... Nope, definitely not normal. Stuff is happening to her. We'll see if her and Buffy will have more in common ot it's something else. Hee... so good to know! That option seems to be winning out so far so I'll probably update once a week till she comes back, re-edit it then and start updating twice a wekk again. Author's Response: It was really a day from hell, all the stuff piling on top of her and Spike didn't help though he was supposed to. He did a bad call, but he is a vampire and in his mind, he was doing the right thing. He didn't kill the woman. He can't stop being what he is just as Buffy can't stop being the Slayer, so she'll have to see and accept it. Don't worry, they'll talk and you can trust me to make it better. :) And Faith will go through some stuff herself but more to that later. ;) Yup, Joyce found Buffy which is another thing she'll have to deal with.
