Yay Lorne is here! I almost want Cordy and Gunn to find Angel so he can go evil on them and kill them, like poetic justice or something.

Hey, I got an idea, how about Buffy gets her mojo back by kicking Hallie's ass and then taking her on a boat ride to visit Angel, gets the ring because Angel doesn't need it. He'll live forever, but he won't look pretty without it. Buffy can shove Hallie in the cage with Angel. Is Angel in danger of losing his soul again? Doesn't matter if he's no better with it than without it anyway. If he gets busy with Hallie and loses his soul, then he'll just kill Hallie and still be stuck at the bottom of the ocean. Buffy will give the ring to Spike and let Lorne be the kids' nanny. That's like 5 birds with one stone.

Laughing so hard at Spike and the condoms. If nothing else, at least he got an ego boost out of them. Hopefully, Hallie won't steal any of the condoms to make Buffy wrongfully suspect something. Though that would be dumb because Buffy knows Spike's seed is dead, it's just not so dead when it comes to her. (However, if Hallie was never going to do that and then suddenly by some twist of fate after this review she does decide to do that, allow me to believe she was always going to do it.)

When I saw 'House Rules,' I didn't think 'Cider House Rules.' I thought Christian Kane's 'The House Rules.' Great song.

Actually, I THOUGHT CK's House Rules, too - I LOVE that song- well, I love all his songs, really . . . but I thought I'd reference somthing that Buffy would have some chance of knowing! I don't think country is their kinda music so much and Lindsey's stuck up in Canada still. Gonna have to get Lindsey back in here soon so we can have more music! Maybe he'll write a song called House Rules after he sees her rules posted - of course, his rules are a LITTLE different! ;-)

Ok - you and my muse need to just quit conspiring behind my back! I actually had written a part where Buffy discovers some of the condoms missing - but I took it out for the reason you pointed out - Spike would have no need for them with anyone but Buffy, so it didn't make sense that Hallie would steal some to make Buffy suspicious of Spike - since Spike wouldn't use them with anyone else, anyway.

Glad you like Lorne here! I love Lorne! I think his empatic abilities may come in handy around here.

Old slayers don't die peacefully, they go out in a blaze of glory and Buffy is no exception to this belief. Having earned her man and home filled with kids and friends does nothing to soothe her inner warriors’ bloodlust. Her innate desire to excel in all things professionally or personally is causing her to count her short-comings instead of her blessings. Vette smacks Buffy upside the head to snap her out of her pity parade. Spike and the others may have to stage a rescue of themselves in order to be able to live with the hormonal slayer. I cannot believe how Gun and Cordelia launched a surgical strike against Lorne, but hey, best to be on Spike and Buffy’s camp than on theirs. His empathic abilities may prove useful to the Scoobies. So glad the wicca’s gave Buffy the “heads-up” on Hallie, so if there is any cure for Buffy’s melancholy, than kicking Hallie’s buttock’s should prove useful in snapping her out of her doldrums. Look forward to more chapters and reading some more on the kiddies!

I think you could be right about Lorne's empathic abilities coming in handy around here - I like Lorne, I'm glad he's here!

I hope Buffy can use what Willow and Tara told her and figure out that Hallie is NOT on her side . . . and soon. She really needs to kick someone's ass, maybe kick her own as into gear - -- but kicking Hallie's would be so much sweeter!
