Yay all around!! I couldn't agree more that Spike must have money tucked away somewhere and simply chooses not to use it. It's more fun getting it out of the Scoobies ... I always thought when Spike offered Buffy money in S6 when she was working at the burger joint, he meant more than kitten money ... that he had 'real' money tucked away that he could access - perhaps in Europe, not easily obtainable right on hand, but still there. Loved the Dr. Who comment, as well! :) Only sad part was that Riley didn't get beat up more ... heehee! Great chapter!

Author's Response: I really think "The Doctor" in this episode was an homage to the show all along. Just as the lines about the DVD's and Red Dwarf :-) Duh, if you are around for 120 years you will have money with interest. Especially if you don't care about spending it. I just hope that Sam will beat up Riley, it was him after all who messed everything up with his hatred. They could've been gone before the Scoobies arrived otherwise. c42, 2011-11-22
