I worry about Spike's behaviour because him kissing her like that makes it seem like he's going to do something silly like leave. But I'm glad he stopped by the store. :) All of their interactions make me happy!

All I can say is that Spike was quite high-strung and dare I say 'desperate' for a reason. Whether you were right to worry or not... you'll find out soon. ;) Thank you for being awesome!!!

Oh, Buffy, he's in love with you. You as good as forgave him, and are okay, and want him to be safe, and he has completely fallen for you... And she is still somehow young and innocent, and really okay with knowing a lot of crazy stuff about her life that probly fills in some hinky blanks that were always there but only on the tip of her tongue, gone when you don't think about them. And she just doesn't quite know where his mind is. That kiss was an amazing gesture, wonder how long she'll last before she goes to him, and what they'll do then. After all, she already told him she'd marry him some day. :) I'm sure that's completely incoherent, but I loved it. Put off sleep just to read this on, which may explain some of the off kilter review, but it's a great chapter, and ready for more. Update soon!

Author's Response: She's definitely not angry at him, but she does feel a bit betrayed, which is why she couldn't say the words. Doesn't mean she hasn't forgiven him in her heart anyway. :) Now Buffy knows that world isn't quite what it seems and that is a lot to deal with, but she's dealing very well, considering. Me? I'd totally freak the hell out and probably wouldn't even leave my house for weeks. lol Glad you liked the kiss! The next time they meet shall be quite interesting, but that's all I'm saying. ;) Hee... no worries, I'm a big fan of incoherent! Everything .. almost back to order as far as their relationship. I am sure Anya could give her quite the education on demons etc.
Maybe she should have said something about the "vision" of his sister, Eline, in the woods.
