Ok, yeah. I totally finished this on my Nook, but have to come back and give the odd review. (Not ALL of my reviews are 'odd' however!)
A 'Nook' is a Barnes and Noble version of a Kindle. B&N is a massive book chain in the states. Nooks are heavier than Kindles and have shitty batteries. I wish my husband would have bought me a Kindle instead. Don't I sound like a bitch?
OK! SO TO THE REVIEW! (thought I'd never get there)
The building to the sex is very nice. The description of what's going on with him is both sensual and sweet and also has such an edge of vulnerability (ok, that's kind of three things and not two as I indicated by the word 'both' - but this is unbeata'ed so go with it).
Author's Response: Oh yeah, I know B&N though I never shopped there because we don't have it here (in Slovakia where I'm from, nor in UK where I go to a uni). :) And hey, we women are obliged by unwritten law to complain! Silly husband not buying you Kindle. ;)

Mmmhh whoever gave Buffy the dreams about Spike - that made Buffy understand Spike better. That's why she can read him so well, huh?
And they fight well together as they proved again. We'll see about the other thing soon *g*
Author's Response: It certainly gave her an insight, but she's also a bit more observant than the Buffy in canon. Being on the outskirts gave her the opportunity to learn how to read people around her.
I like writing them as a team, and the next chapter that includes the other thing *wink wink* is already written. Just waiting for it to be beta'd Thank you for being lovely!! :)

But why is he hesitant about Giles and Joyce ?
Author's Response: Mwahaha... couldn't be helped. ;) But now worries,the next chapter is halfway done, so it shouldn't be a long wait. As to your question... Spike has lost so much. He doesn't like to admit Giles and Joyce are like family/friends to him because that would mean there are more people he can lose. People who really matter and their loss would be devastating. His excuses are getting dimmer though because he does care and denying it doesn't change that. Hope you'll enjoy the next chapter, and thank you for reviewing!! :)
