It has taken me days to get rid of the image of Spike and Riley rutting. Frankly if I was able to scrub the pictures out of my brain I would do so. I don't know if I can read anymore of that type of activity but I like your writing and this series so much that I will keep reading. You said it would not be graphic but unfortunately your words and Buffy's reaction painted a really good picture. Ugh. Sorry I r put this review under the wrong chapter.

Author's Response: No problem .... I knew what you meant! :)

I haven’t been able to review because I’ve been busy trying to scrub my brain free from the images of Spike/Riley; please tell me we won’t be subjected to any more of that?!?!? I appreciated that it wasn’t really very graphic so I’ll just say EEWWW and leave it at that. I’m surprised and disappointed in Tara’s attitude toward their Buffy. Thanks for the update, more soon please.

Author's Response: Hi Melly - Oh, I had really hoped the Double-Dose of Spike would've cleansed the Riley image away ... I guess that wasn't enough. I guess we'll have to have a second double-dose of Spike soon to try and clear it all away. There will not be another scene like that between the boys - I promise. Everyone's changed, even Tara can be hardened by enough loss and death. Thanks for stopping in. Sorry for the EWWWW and mind-scrubbing that was needed. :)

Buffy really is like a fish out of water in this new environment, she judges when she shouldn’t, is surprised when her otherworldly comrades don’t make a big deal in seeing her - dismissing her presence and is shocked at the coldness aim toward her from Spike when she disrespects him in front of the others. Apparently Spike is running the place like the old Spike that first arrived to Sunnydale used to – a dictatorship and not a democracy. The others do not seem to have a problem with it, so Buffy should just watch and learn how the inner workings of Spike’s new world run before trying to jump in and take over as a slayer. On top of that, the other’s look at her and probably detest her dead counterpart for dying and leaving them alone in this hell world. So sad that Dawn is too far gone down the road of denial; it would have been nice to have Annie and Dawn bond together. When Buffy went into her comma on the TV series, Willow traveled into the recesses of her mind to pry her out, can that be done for Dawn? Or just bite her and see if her survival instincts come rushing forward. The erotic sounds emitted by Spike and Riley just shows that Buffy needs to find ear plugs for Annie and herself – either that or just stun their loud carcasses with a taser! If the demon fighters run out of food, they could always cook Bob the big bug since he already is in a pit. Boy! Buffy’s dream was hot! Two Spikes! Your muse is evil, taunting us with the Spikeyness overload!

Author's Response: Buffy is pretty turned around and, yeah, pretty judgy. Spike is definitely in charge and definitely rules with an iron fist, which we will see more of soon. if they all think her counterpart committed suicide, that would make them doubly harsh towards her - thinking she's a quitter/coward and leaving them there to fight alone. On the 'soul gaze' or whatever Willow did to Buffy to snap her out of her comma, that would be interesting to see. Maybe Annie could do it ... assuming she and Dawn are counterparts and probably share the same soul in the different dimensions. LOL! on Buffy stunning Spike and Riley with a taser! heehee! That will be the extent of the 'slash' we will get in this story. and ROFL about cooking Bob since he's already in a pit! too funny! Glad you liked Buffy's dream! We'd been without any good smut for so long, I had to have TWO Spikes to make up for it! :) Thanks so much, Vette! Your reviews are always a delight!
