Are the Jacks afraid of the water because comparable to the witch from “The Wizard of Oz” they melt in water? If so, bring on the water super soaker guns. Riley coming from “The Initiative” really hasn’t suggested experimentation on the otherworldly demons? Capture a Jack alive and wonder why it is afraid of water and werewolves. Does a werewolf bite kill it? If so, let’s go and make more werewolves from volunteers. As far as the leeches, perhaps they could be sucked up and used as water balloon grenades against the Jacks. Let them screech then. Glad that Annie made it out alive and how brave she was to protect her mother. Yay Annie! Spike of this world at least is sampling his crumb from an otherworldly Buffy, should that be sufficient or stoke the flames of despair who knows, but at least for a few fleeting moments he got his crumb. What about the baby? Evil muse!

Author's Response: LOL!! You have got the best ideas!!! You should be a Slayer! No, the Reds don't melt in the water, they just don't like it. Riley never was the experiment type, he was the wham-bam type - which is what he still does. The problem with making more werewolves is that Oz has spent many, many years learning to control the wolf - think about it. He left in May of 2000 to go back to Tibet to study *further* (this is after he came back from studying once already) on controlling the demon and he's spent more years here, living alone, working on that skill. So, just having a bunch of undisciplined werewolves that can only change on the full moon and not control the demon wouldn't really help - much(?). Annie is a brave little soldier! Spike is getting his crumb, but I think it will leave him only feeling worse for the taste. We will get back to the baby, I promise - it's just gonna be a while. Patience ...

Glad they were finally able to have a bit of a heart to heart without doing anything either would later regret. (Plenty of time for that later when its been a real long time that she stays stuck in this world.) Gotta wonder about the second dream Spike, if it isn't hers. One of them is clearly the Spike of this world, but who's the other one? So many questions, and we've got little Mac, still without answers. Update soon, answer questions. :)
