A break in the angst would be very welcome right now. Thank heavens Buffy decided against dealing with W&H!! I was extremely worried about the outcome of any contract she would have to make with Evil, Inc. Based on what Tara was seeing in her aura could Buffy be under some kind of spell? Thanks for another great update. More (with less angst) soon please.

Author's Response: Hi Melly! I will try to get another chapter, with less angst, up soon for you. Hopefully the next two chapters will be palate cleansers as Buffy meets Spike in their dreams. I don't think Buffy's under a spell, just feeling terribly guilty and defeated and lonely and maybe afraid. Thanks for hanging in here with me - you're doing great! :)
