Poor little overwhelmed Annie. Sure is a lot to take in, and that's just her house before we even get to the earth magic stuff. :) I think she will fit in quite nicely with the rest of the kooks. Update soon!

Author's Response: Hi BR! I do feel a bit bad for Annie. Dawn was much older than Annie is when she met Gertie in her world, so this is a bit overwhelming for our girl. I do think that Gertie will be a wonderful addition to the kooks in SunnyD - can't have too many opposites! :) Thanks so much for reading and stopping in, BR!

I don’t suppose Gertie would need a house sitter when she visits Sunnydale?!! I really loved Billy’s dialogue with the computer – it sounded just like his father would have at that age (or even now!) Thanks for another wonderful update, more soon please.

Author's Response: I know, right? My imagination just went wild with where this hippie witch might live and how she'd live. We'll learn more about her in the next chapter. She's not one to be labeled, I can tell you that. I'm glad the description of the house didn't bore you! I was indulging my muse, which, I sort of have to - he's so cute and I kinda need him (and love him, heehee!) ! :) Glad you liked Billy's dialogue with the computer - I was afraid he'd sound a little 'multiple personality', but I think you're right - he is Spike's (and perhaps more so: William's) son all the way. Will have more as soon as I can. My beta reader is getting married this week. I usually try to keep a few chapter 'buffer' for things like this (or for when my muse decides to watch the Olympics instead of write), but I only have one more ready (because we indulged in watching half-naked men swimming and tumbling and stuff during the Olympics). Trying to space the chapters out so there isn't a really long delay in here anywhere. Thanks so much for reading and stopping in, Melly! Love hearing from U!
