Love how very gung-ho Annie is after her trip with Gertie, and Buffy expressing her true opinion to Spike. And the nice little party nod to Avengelyne. A shame we can't bring Lindsey out of hiding. Is almost a complete wonder that Faith hasn't imploded yet. Will have to wait til tomorrow for more. Thanks for sharing. :)

Author's Response: Hey BR! Sorry, not sure how I missed replying to this earilier! I love how Gung-ho Annie is too - it's so like kids to jump onto bandwagons with such zeal! We will bring Lindsey out of hiding soon (I hope!!) I don't have an exact plan on when to bring him back, but I do promise to do it and hopefully it won't be too long. Yes, it is amazing that Faith hasn't imploded yet - Lindsey should have his hands full when he gets here! :) Thanks so much for reading and reveiwing ! Love hearing from U!

This chapter and the house painting are two of my all time favorite chapters ever. Your ability to develop the character of each member of the family is heartwarming. I could just picture Spike and Billy waiting at the bottom of the stairs. Annie's concern for the environment came in second when she found the perfect dress and needed shoes. Buffy and Dani exchange was priceless. Spike proves there is nothing more sexy than a man that loves his family. I loved this chapter.

Author's Response: Hi lmullins! Annie may be a Gertie-convert, but she is still Buffy's daughter - chance for new shoes is hard to pass by! :) So glad you liked the chapter. Spike having a family, for whatever reason, was something I thought he deserved for all Joss, etal put him through. I'm so glad you find it as sexy as I do! I guess it was his interaction with Dawn that just made me think he'd be such a wonderful dad, and he hasn't disappointed yet! So glad you enjoyed the chapter! Thank you so much for reading and stopping in! Love hearing from U!

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!!! This chapter is one of my favorites. “She’s a half-baked granola bar with an extra helping of nuts” reminds me of a Buffett song that says we human beings were taken out of the cosmic oven too soon! After meeting Gertie, Annie has certainly become a force of and for Nature hasn’t she? The zeal of the convert! I hope she doesn’t stray too far off the path before her next visit with Gertie. Spike didn’t disappoint with his surprise party. Thanks for such a fun, wonderful update, more soon please

Author's Response: Hey Melly! Oh, a Parrothead, huh?? Love that reference, I vaguely remember that Buffet line - a good one! Oh yes, when children become zealots watch out! :) Glad you enjoyed the chapter! Thanks so much for reading and stopping in! Love hearing from U!
