Loved how supportive Anya was. Especially loved the scene where buffy called spike to come to bed! Story is moving along so nicely.

I'm somewhat happier with Anya but I think since Xander can see how sick Buffy is he should be considerate enough to say they need to be staying in a hotel. He knows they are unwanted house guests yet they still barged in and now they are talking about having a celebration?! Go home and celebrate you future, don't stay and do so in front of someone that may not have a future of her own. I can’t believe Will thinks going out to celebrate the next night is a good idea, regardless of him planning on just drinking water. I know Xander and Anya haven’t been told she has breast cancer but they have noticed how ill she is and they can see she no longer has any hair – that should tell them what’s wrong. And even if they knew for sure she was cured she's still not feeling well enough for them to be there. Will may not be able to make them leave town but couldn’t he at least kick them out of the house?

He's very hurt about the way Buffy has treated their friendship and isn't thinking about the reasons for her behavior. This is something that will be addressed soon. William thinks Buffy can benefit from a night out. I think I should have made that point a little clearer. As for the hotel thing..... Well that would make things way too simple wouldn't it? ;) I'm glad I could make Anya a little more tolerable. Thanks for reading!

I liked the update. I think Spike handled things well. Buffy had every right to be upset with xander and anya being there. I do think Anya's bluntness was borderline unnecessary at times...sometimes way too harsh. Maybe toning it down just a bit would be better? Thanks for another good update. I look forward to reading how Buffy acts in the morning with the new house guests.

I don’t like Anya is this story so I wish that Spike had told Anyanka to keep her mouth shut because he will no longer tolerate her criticism of Buffy. I wish he had told her that he’s not Xander and will no longer put up with her attitude and comments concerning Buffy; he should have told her it doesn’t matter what she thinks she knows or why she’s doing it, he simply will not tolerate it any longer. Since she and Xander are practically in Camden it’s too late for that so I guess my wish now would be for her to feel unbearable quilt and remorse when she learns of Buffy’s condition and then slink back home with her head down and her tail between her legs.

Author's Response: I appreciate your opinion and am glad you let me know. I have plans for Anya and trust me she will grow as a character. While she is impulsive and doesn't think before she speaks, Spike sees that she's trying to protect him because he is her friend even if she's not going about it the right way. I do hope you like the story and the other characters if not Anya. Thanks for you review!

I'm still with you! Glad that Buffy is finally letting the walls come down a bit. Looking forward to them helping each other. Buffy could help Spike with his AA meetings and Spike with her chemo!

I loved the Xander and Anya scene! Buffy shaving her head and Spike reassuring her after was so emotional. I teared up....but then you has flashback smut and made my sad mood all better!
