This was one incredibly emotionally packed chapter. Just wonderful. The miriad of emotions going through Tara's head was just so powerful. I'm amazed that she could be as calm and composed as she was. What was even more amazing, and disturbing, was that Dawn was not surprised that Willow was responsible for the portal opening, and that she assumed it was a result of an attempt to bring back her sister. In that moment I felt more sorrow for her than ever before. More than when she lost her mother, more than when she discovered she was the key, more than when she lost her sister. She should not be forced to deal with the loss of innocence and faith in other people until she is much older. Your story just brings all my anger at Willow back to forefront. Thank you for having Tara be honest with Dawn. That is the least she deserves. And thank you for both of the moments in the cemetary with Spike. The first, as an example of how much he has changed and how much he truly loved Buffy. The last, as moment to give us hope. Where our hope was lost earlier in the form of Willow crossing a line, you restored it in the end with such a powerful moment. Two very powerful realizations in these last two chapters. Tara's realization when she stumbled over Willow after closing the portal, and Spike's realization when he looked down and saw the disturbed earth of Buffy's grave at his feet. Two moments, so similar in act, that will change the lives of everyone involved forever and set this story truly in motion. Just wonderful.

Awesome! That was better and more intense than the actually resurrection (which was pretty amazing in and of itself) so that is saying a lot. I love the way you changed things up - Willow soloing it; the inclusion of Dawn's blood for the ceremony; the step by step description of Buffy's resurrection; and Spike being there for her when she finally got out. Plus, reading about Spike trying to keep it together for her, which is so against his nature, drew me in completely. But enough with the cliffhangers!! lol
