I think I actually gasped out lout in this chapter. Spike acting like a complete lunatic was kind of scary. I fear for Buffy if she ever tried to break up with him! He'd go mental! He needs something to wake him up before she leaves him--though, maybe that WOULD be the thing to wake him up. It seems like he's getting worse, if that's possible lol. Pretty soon she's never going to be able to leave the house!
I think you should go ahead and post those period pieces! I 'd love to read them. And if no one else does, then you cand just send them to me for my enjoyment :)

I love the story line, but I can't tell if it's going off on irrevlevant tangents, or if these little things will all fit later. But I really do love the story. A request please (unless you have everything all mapped out of course), could Angel have some sort of painful accident? Just a thought....

I think this fic is going really well - I find myself wondering if anything short of losing Buffy will make him realize the error of his ways. Liked the "dark knight" sybolism -- and Spikes' reaction to it even more.
As for period pieces - yum! Bring em 'on! They are one of my secret Spuffy favs.

I loved the chapters. I can't wait for learn what Buffy answers to Spike. She should really talk about er stuff to Spike so he could understand the change Buffy wants. Not like he can guess what Buffy wants. I like especially the last sentence. The black armour is an excellent metaphor, I think.

Just started to read this. Good job. Very entertaining.
A little suggestion, it would be nice to put each character's dialog in a different paragraph. I know it take room, but it would be clearer on who is talking and thinking.

I guess they didn't like the idea that Buffy 'allowed' Spike to do that?

Good!! I'm glad she took matters into her own hands like that. Seems to me, with the flashbacks, that Buffy needs to get back in touch with the way she was. Sh ewas a little spitfire that told him exactly what she thought of him. She needs that back! Maybe if she tells him she'll leave unless he lets up, he'll realize he could lose her. Can't wait to see what you have planned for us next!
