This was truly the best story that I have read in a long time-A very sad ending, It had me in tears, I thought that the way you decided to write the story covering the varous generations over the years was a good choice, It made it much more interesting that way

Truly beautiful. I'm sad to see it go. I think you made the perfect decision with continuing the story the way you did. It would have been too short for a sequel and kind of disjointed, but this is perfect as the last 4th of the story. Very sweet and it's one of the only fanfic I plan to read again from beginning to end... p.s. I think it's still listed as incomplete

I like the direction of this. And I'm glad you didn't include the custom of reusing names when children die. That has always freaked me out. My grandmother had an older sister that died and then a younger sister (born afterward) who carried the same name. Part of me thinks it's bad luck.

Spike/Buffy grandchildren will be involved also. There's some surprise matches in the future for the Summers/Giles clans.

They are set (and titled) by the year they are taking place in.
In other words, the next chapter is entitled...'August 20th, 1882'

Author's Response: Thanks. Darla is a widow, her husband died some years before. She plays in instrumental part in the fic for just 3 chapters or so.
Actually, this fiction is completed in my files and on another site.
I'm updating so much because I want to concentrate of 'Murder in Sunnydale' and Na Grach Croi, as well as start a new fic here that is about Vampires and Slayers.
