This story comes after my one-shot, Finality, that's over at BSV. The fight in "Smashed" went a bit differently, and instead of Buffy trying to jump Spike, she tried to get him to kill her. A horrified Spike refused, and ran off, called Giles to come take care of her, and left Sunnydale once the Watcher got back in town.
