Summary: In my world Spike did do something a bit faster, more clever, and he saved Dawn, so Buffy never died. Off canon from the end of series five.
One morning Buffy wakes up to find herself in Spikes body, and he in hers. The only way to swap them back is with a soul swap spell. The problem? As everyone likes to remind him, Spike doesn’t have a soul. Will Buffy’s attitude towards Spike change when she is forced to confront the man, and the monster, inside of him?
