Summary: William 'Spike' Tennant made a deathbed promise to his best friend and he comes home to realise it, though the promise is going to be hard- taking care of his best friends wife, the woman Spike has loved his whole life. Not only has Buffy got a few surprise's up her sleeve, Spike gets to understand that all though he's there to make sure she's ok it's her shoulder he leans on when things get bad not the other way around.
