Comments: Love love love!!! I absolutely love this story and always go back to it as one of my top re-reads. My favorite parts come in after Spike finds out Buffy's real identity and the dynamic of their relationship after that. He tries to hate and love her at the same time and bc of this he can't help but try to protect her in his own sordid way. The violence between them is what ends up bringing them more together than anything else. It's the understanding between them and the need to make each other better at any cost. At least, that's how I interpret the story. (Hope that's ok and part of the point that you were trying to make in writing this). Love it and a bunch of your other stories too! Thank you for deep meaningful writing that is just fantastic from beginning to end!!!
