Every time I read this story I get little butterflies in my belly. I just want them to end up back together so much, as cookies of course. As many of us know there is nothing more painful than trying to stay away from someone you love when all you want to be with them. I really liked Spike's subtle reluctance to share himself with her again, though he did do it in the end. And I also like that he acknowledges that her heart is broken too. I'm really looking forward to seeing where this journey takes them as individuals, as well as how they handle it as friends. Good work as always Brat.

Yay! I gave a little girly squeal when I saw you had updated. And I don't squeal for just anybody, so that's saying a lot. Loved the new chapter. Just knew it was going to be angsty, given the circumstances, and you certainly didn't disappoint. Poor Spike, all pained and grieving. Can't wait to see what happens when they meet again.

Firstly I just have to say that the dance scene in the last chapter was really really really hot and I enjoyed every steamy moment of it. Okay, yeah so really liked this chapter too. I love that things are going slow between them. A lot of stories have the great sexual tension thing but then the first kiss ends up being the first sex scene and sometimes you just wish it had taken longer. So, I'm really enjoying the slow burn here. Great work.

Okay, you know I adore this story beasleysmom. But I am a bit disappointed that the old 'attempted rape' twist was thrown into this one. I was so enjoying the light-heartedness of it all. Having said that, glad to see Buffy and Spike still growing closer. Just a shame their fun night had to have such a bad end. Will still be looking forward to future chapters.

I've held off on reading this story till a few chapters were up and now that I've taken the dive and read it I'm so glad I did. Really enjoyed this start. I can see already that Buffy and Spike are going to get on really well. They seem really comfortable with each other. Just one tiny thing to watch out for. Your tense seems to flip back and forth from present tense to past tense in some sentences. Otherwise a great start and I'll look forward to seeing what comes next.
